I chose the special nib. Beena nibs are always impressive, so is this one. It is very smooth, and most importantly, the two tips of the nib are perfectly in line, therefore there is no ink flow issue. The rest of the pen is great as well. There is no leaking. The pen is compatible with Pierre Cardin compatible cartridge and converter, which are cheaply available in stores. Overall, this pen is highly recommended.
